Nike Hood to Coast Event Capture

I recently covered the 2015 Hood to Coast event, in which Nike participated in. I worked with Conscious Minds, a great team who I’ve worked with in the past several times. The Hood to Coast event is a 24-hour long relay race held every year in Oregon, usually on the Friday and Saturday prior to the Labor Day weekend. It is among the biggest and longest relay races in the world. For walkers and runners, participating in the Hood to Coast event is an item on their bucket list.

Together with a small team in a van, we followed the Nike team’s journey through the race.   We slept in Vans, and got hit straight on with a hurricane.  Here are some wonderful shots from the said event.

Simon D'artois - Rip Curl poster

I was blessed to be given an opportunity to do a look book shoot for the Giro team at Tignes France. Here is a great shot featuring Simon d'Artois.

Simon d'Artois is a famous Canadian skier. He's included in the Canadian National Halfpipe team. To many, he's probably known best for winning a gold medal for the Men's SuperPipe at the recently held Winter X Games XIX. He's an all-around, grateful, awesome dude and it was an honor working with him!

2015 Buyers’ Guide Cover – Snowboard Canada w/ Rusty Ockenden

19.Snow-23(1).1-Cover-1500pixels'The landing of this feature looks like a boob from the side, and with the low light it looks like you’re jumping off of a long chin onto a titty. Witches usually have long chins, so we call this spot the witches titty. But in mid march, the light is more or less non existent on this feature and favors only the brave. Rusty Ockenden was quick to land this front 3 on the nipple and onto the next feature by 9am.’
