Nike Hood to Coast Event Capture

I recently covered the 2015 Hood to Coast event, in which Nike participated in. I worked with Conscious Minds, a great team who I’ve worked with in the past several times. The Hood to Coast event is a 24-hour long relay race held every year in Oregon, usually on the Friday and Saturday prior to the Labor Day weekend. It is among the biggest and longest relay races in the world. For walkers and runners, participating in the Hood to Coast event is an item on their bucket list.

Together with a small team in a van, we followed the Nike team’s journey through the race.   We slept in Vans, and got hit straight on with a hurricane.  Here are some wonderful shots from the said event.

New Billabong Lookbook Spreads

Last March 2015, I traveled to Mayhaufen, a small town in Austria, together with athletes Helen Schettini, Taylor Godber, and Wolle Nyvelt to shoot some missing pieces for Billabong's ad campaign and 2016 product lookbook. Mayhaufen is such a cool town, and it is home to Wolle Nyvelt. In fact, we stayed at his parents' hotel just a couple of blocks away from his home. We stayed there for three days.

The shoot was done very quickly, but sometimes that's just how you have to do it.  We were accompanied by Andrew Marrinier, the team manager, and Sophie, the art director at Billabong.  There were a great team to work with.  Here are some of the lookbook shots used by Billabong.

Chelsea Coughlin at Brandywine Falls

I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot Whistler local Chelsea Coughlin in RVCA swimwear. It was a fun and creative shoot, and we did it at the spectacular Brandywine Falls, close to my Whistler home. Brandywine Falls is such as beautiful sight, with the water dropping from a 70-metre cliff to the valley below. It is definitely a must-see for anyone on the way to or driving from Whistler. Here are some amazing shots from our quick shoot.
