Billabong Winter Europe w/ Taylor Godber

I shot a 'how to guide to Whistler' with Taylor Godber for Billabong Europe in January 2017.   Taylor is such a trouper, she was just getting over dengue fever a the time.  We didn't have budget for an assistant so she carried her own change of outfits on the hill, and powered through the day.

The article goes something like:

There is a certain energy to Whistler. Something that hooks and magnetizes people from all over the world to turn their vacations into stay-cations that last a week to a decade. A stroll through the Village and surrounding areas, a taste of the endless cuisine, the lit winter walkways blanketed in snow, and most profoundly the top to bottom pow runs. An elixir that will undoubtedly capture your soul. That is if you are into that kind of stuff.

Thank you to Mount Currie Coffee, Scandinave Spa and of course Whistler Blackcomb for being so accommodating.

I put together my favorites below.

Stay Warm and Enjoy

Aly and Erik - Whistler Wedding

LOVE!! This beautiful bride and groom were a match made in heaven when they met on Tinder. Their love for one another came full circle when they were married in April. Aly and Erik were an absolute pleasure to work with and had so many fantastic ideas of what they wanted from me. They had booked a helicopter ride and wanted to shoot on the glacier; unfortunately, the weather was uncooperative, but it didn't matter. Instead we were able to fly to 4 different locations in Whistler and capture these unforgettable moments. Their lovely ceremony took place on Alta Lake.

I want to thank them for the amazing time and wish them the best of luck in their new life together!

Chelsea Coughlin at Brandywine Falls

I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot Whistler local Chelsea Coughlin in RVCA swimwear. It was a fun and creative shoot, and we did it at the spectacular Brandywine Falls, close to my Whistler home. Brandywine Falls is such as beautiful sight, with the water dropping from a 70-metre cliff to the valley below. It is definitely a must-see for anyone on the way to or driving from Whistler. Here are some amazing shots from our quick shoot.

Caleb & Ashley's Beautiful Rustic Wedding at Evan's Lake, Squamish, BC

Last September, I was fortunate enough to join Geoff Heith of Fill in the Blanks to shoot the cutest Wedding in Squamish.  At Evan's Lake operates a summer camp, outdoor education & rental facility for school groups, until kids go back to school.  At that point the venue is available to rent out and it becomes quiet the prime little wedding destination. Guests can stay the weekend and sleep in the summer camp cabins, there's a lake, tons a lawn space for 200+ people, woods to take shade and great photos, and a kitchen to facilitate meals.  It's one of the cutest set up I've seen around Squamish, at a more then affordable price.

On top of the location, Caleb and Ashley are a lovely couple with an amazing community there to support them.  And that's exactly what this wedding was about: community.

I am so grateful to be able to be apart of something so special and share such loving moments.  Thanks Caleb and Ashley for sharing your beautiful day with me.
